This roof was experiencing some rotting on many areas of the roof. We removed and replaced all of the damaged wood, and installed a Ice and Water Shield before re-flashing and re-shingling the roof.
This customer experienced some damage to their roof as result of a tree falling. We were able to repair and replace the entire roof, fixing the damage from the tree.
This project in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina had many repairs that needed to be made. To begin this project we removed all of the existing roofing from the wood, and replaced any rotten or damaged wood underneath it. We installed ice and water shield, synthetic felt, and aluminum drip and rake metal. New flashings were installed to the vent pipe boots and to the chimney. We finished the project by installing lifetime shingles, ridge vents, and ridge caps.
In South Carolina we get a lot of rain, so it is important that your roof is designed to withstand the water flow. This home has cricket and metal diverters to encourage water to move away from the chimney, which prevents leaking from water pooling on your chimney.
"We live out of town but have rental property in the area. After the storm this past weekend our rental had some roof damaged. We called Klaus to see if they would take on a small roof repair. The lady that took our call was extremely helpful and friendly. Then the repair guy went and evaluated our roof and had a team out there to make the repair the same afternoon. He sent us pictures of every step of the repair and our renter called and said what a wonderful job they did and that they cleaned up every piece of material as well. Needless to say we were very impressed with their team, the quality of their work and with their communication!! We will definitely call them the next time we need a roof!"
