We are so happy when our Solatube customers become our roofing customers as well. "It is time," is exactly what the homeowner said to Matt when she called us out for a free roof inspection. Being previous customers of Carolina Energy Conservation for the solar attic fans and Solatube Daylight System, they knew that we are a company that is all about being here long term for our customers. Getting a new roof around current attic fans and solatubes could shake the fixtures. Our removal and install of the Klaus Roofing System went smoothly and looks beautiful for years to come. You don't have to be afraid of roof incision if you choose us. The flashing around attic fans and solatubes have a life time guarantee of no leaks.
A homeowner in Murrells Inlet decided to replace their roof due to the combined effects of severe weather, age-related deterioration, and rising maintenance costs. The area’s frequent heavy rains, high humidity, and occasional storms had caused significant wear and tear on the old roofing, leading to leaks and reduced energy efficiency. After a thorough roof assessment by Klaus Roofing Systems, it was determined that a replacement was the best option. The replacement was chosen because it offers superior durability and weather resistance, which is crucial for handling the region’s climate challenges. Additionally, the new roof promises lower maintenance needs and improved insulation, enhancing the home’s energy efficiency and property value while providing long-term peace of mind.
In Murrells Inlet, Klaus Roofing recently completed a roof replacement project for a local homeowner. The old roof had seen better days, and the homeowner wanted to enhance both protection and appearance. Our team at Klaus Roofing carefully removed the existing roofing materials and installed a new, high-quality system. We used durable shingles and modern techniques to ensure the roof would withstand the elements and improve energy efficiency. The result was a refreshed look for the home, along with improved durability and protection. Our focus on quality and customer satisfaction guided us throughout the project, aiming to deliver a solution that adds value and comfort for the homeowner.
The new homeowner in Georgetown new the current metal roof was well past 30 years old and from attic inspection our roofer found it had been placed on top of a failed roof with old board decking. To replace this roof we needed to remove 2 roofs, but it would provide the needed protection for the future of this home. Taking advantage of our free solar attic fan special, the homeowner now also has an attic fan to keep the attic space cooler during our hot South Carolina summers.
A Pawleys Island home needed a new roof and called on Klaus Roofing team to get the job done.
In the before image, you can see the roof of this single-family home is showing its age so we went right to work, replacing any damaged or rotted wood with new plywood.
To ensure the home is weather protected, our team installed a Synthetic Underlayment on the roof decking. Loose roof decking can be blown off by the wind.
Once our Klaus Roofing team members installed drip edge along all eaves of the roof, it was time for shingles.
We installed new architectural lifetime shingles. They are an asphalt-based roofing material designed to give this roof a nice, new-looking pattern.
You can see the beautiful result in the "after" picture. This home and its owner will enjoy a new roof over his head for years to come!
